About Me

My photo
B-Green Acres
Northwest Ohio, United States
I'm a Mom to three wonderful kids, 16,14,and 9...two boys and a girl. I'm a Pro Portrait Photographer. We're building a homestead on 4 beautiful acres in Northwest Ohio. The homestead will ultimately include a strawbale home, and many "Green" features. Even though a lot of people are jumping on the "green train"...it's been a long process to get where we are today...so what's that old song??? "I was country...when country wasn't cool!" Well...same thing applies! LOL Our dream just happens to be fulfilling itself at a time when everyone is finally accepting the alternative lifestyle of sustainable homestead living.

"The green movement has become [glamorized] and associated with expensive products," "But that's not what it's all about." To understand sustainability, we need to look at the way our grandparents lived. "This is not new thinking. It is new for us because we, as Americans today, aren't used to conserving."
